About Joshua

Joshua Wahls is the founder of Insurance By Heroes and an independent life insurance broker licensed in 49 states and Washington, D.C. (National Producer Number 19191959). He started the agency in 2019 in Pasadena, Maryland.

Josh's public service spans from local law enforcement, to the Department of Defense, to the IRS, where he was the life insurance and annuities subject-matter expert for the Mid-Atlantic region. His family served too: he's a former active-duty military spouse.

He holds an MBA from Western Governors University, where his capstone earned a performance award. His expertise has been quoted in AOL, Business Insider, TechBullion, and other publications.
